Tungsten, tantalum, tin (and the ores from which they originate), and gold are considered “conflict minerals” under the U.S. Dodd-Frank Act (Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, passed by U.S. Congress in 2010). Based upon information collected from APP’s supply chain, APP does not knowingly use metals derived from the Conflict Region in our products
APP requires our suppliers to comply with all applicable laws and regulations, a commitment to ethical conduct, and respect for human rights in the spirit of internationally recognized standards. We also require our suppliers to provide documentation declaring the materials, chemicals, and components used in the purchased products and their production process. We have confirmed with our suppliers that none of the above minerals are used in the production of our products, nor do any originate from Conflict Region(s).
APP periodically reviews our supply chain for conformance.
